The First Stage

The company was established and operated around the plastic industry [Leading industries: plastic woven bags, plastic machinery, entering engineering plastics]

Ø  In 1975, a small street factory was established with self financing to engage in the production and sales of plastic woven bags.

Ø  In 1986, Tianchang County Plastic Knitting Factory was established, with an output value exceeding ten million yuan in 1988.

Ø  Invested in establishing a plastic machinery factory in 1990, and obtained the right to import and export independently in 1991.

Ø  In 1994, an engineering plastics factory was established and started to enter the household appliance parts industry.

The Second Stage

Establish a group and diversify development [Leading industry: home appliance components, increase investment in seamless steel pipe industry]

Ø  In 1995, Tianda Group was established.

Ø  From 1995 to 2000, subsidiaries of home appliance components were established in Shanghai, Tianjin, and many other cities.

Ø  In 2003, invested 500 million yuan in the hot rolled seamless steel pipe project in Chuzhou.

Ø  In 2004, invested in the A-share listed company Konka Group and became its second largest shareholder (exited in 2008).

The Third Stage

Equity reform, using live capital, moving to a new level [Leading industry: seamless steel pipe, focusing on the capital market to become stronger and larger, and cultivating new industries]

Ø  In 2004, the Group completed equity reform.

Ø  In 2006, the oil pipe company was listed on the Growth Enterprise Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange; In 2007, the oil pipe company was listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange; In 2010, the French company Vallourectubes was introduced as a strategic shareholder.

Ø  In 2013, Tianda Copper Co., Ltd. was established to construct a 150000 ton high-grade electromagnetic wire project. In 2014, General Biology Company was established.

The Fourth Stage

Secondary entrepreneurship, industrial optimization, and leapfrog development [Diversified layout, professional operation, industries mainly involving plastic packaging, precision copper, composite aluminum, biomedicine, new energy]

Ø  In 2016, all shares of Tianda oil pipe company held by Tianda Group were sold.

Ø  From 2018 to 2019, Tianda Copper, Tianda Environmental Protection, and General Biology successively carried out the second share reform to achieve management shareholding.

Ø  In 2020, Tianda Copper started construction of the 250000 ton precision copper material project in Chuzhou High-tech Zone, and Tianda Petrochemical started construction of the 300000 ton polypropylene project in Tianchang Tongcheng Town.

Ø  In 2021, General Biology invested in the construction of a small nucleic acid industrialization project in the Quanjiao Industrial Park, and launched the second phase of the annual synthesis of 200 million base gene research and development service platform project.

Ø  In 2021, Tianda Aluminum Company and Tianda New Energy Company were established to march towards clean energy.

Ø  In 2022, the construction of Tianda New Energy 15GW high-efficiency PV module project was started, and a green power company was established to engage in the investment and operation of PV power station systems.
